HOME AND HOSED
So, I just got home from a trip over to the land of opportunity. It was amazing, I based in NYC for most the time but managed to play in DC, Baltimore, Kansas and LA too. I did not however manage to blog it out the whole time i was away, so here is picture based wrap up of what I learned.
Obama used to be in Run DMC.
Hendo bears an uncanny chucky resemblance.
Roller discos still exist and are awesome.
Most things are bolted down in Baltimore, and for good reason.
The worlds cutest child lives in New York and belongs to my friends Abiri and Nina.
A lot of the more main stream clubs expect you to play for 4 hours or more and have podium dancing ladies who are great entertainment during those long hours in the booth. When the podium dancers have breaks, all the drunk girls in the club jump up and give it a go, and often there are glorious stacks!
Sweeties in USA are magnificent!
As are Huaraches.
Armand VH and his 15 year old son are axes on guitar hero.
Sometimes the street in NY is littered with unattended work out equipment.
All the dj’s say that the Do Over is the best party in America right now.
Michael and Dookie from the wire are friends in real life and LOVE sneaky sound system!
